  1. Face it. Fighter jocks only want to be in sexy birds they can paint flags on the side of prior to jaunting off to the bar in their flight suits. Since they disdain flight suits do much, the should just hand them over to the Army who has the burning desire for ground support aircraft. The Army will then pop a bunch of high hour warrent officers into the cockpits and go to town. That is horrifying to the Air Force because it will force them to admit they COULD finally reduce their grade plate for pilots. Horrors of horrors.
