  1. Concur, and it was rare to have enough dismounts in the back anyway. We were always short dismounts. It got so bad that I had a platoon of 13 guys two weeks before an NTC rotation. Full vehicle crews and a single dismount. We were saved the week before flying to Fort Irwin when a bus pulled up and delivered 8 dismounts to us from the Texas National Guard.
