  3. I think we have to also realize that it's ok to have those feelings, we all have horrible feelings. It doesn't make us bad people. The fact that she didn't like that feeling shows she was a sweet person. I think when we start to beat ourselves up in our minds is when we need to talk it out with someone. If we bottle it up, we just dwell on it and it becomes an ugly secret that can consume us.

  7. I wouldn't take money from a stranger, much less a homeless person. I also don't usually give them money, though I would buy them a meal.

  10. That doesn't mean they're harmful either. Maybe ineffective, maybe harmful, but it's a risk. So is getting Covid, it's a risk.

  12. It can only go as fast as the tracks and the other train traffic will allow it. When we took Amtrak cross-country there were a bunch of delays because they share tracks.

  16.  @Daveoceanair  I think we all judge to a certain extent. I don't think less of the homeless, they usually have serious issues and they need compassion. Money can help, sometimes, but they need real help. I think programs like the Alpha project are vital and I support them occasionally. I've known of a few cases where homeless have family that would/can help, but the mental illness is a huge factor. The person just can't be helped. It's very complicated.

  23.  @edmundoespinosa6974  Well, sometimes innocent people get caught in the middle. We almost did. It's a big problem throughout Mexico now, not just certain areas. The only answer is God's kingdom.

  24. I'm sorry he lost his sister, he's a great kid with good intentions but if you're sick you need to stay home. My brother didn't miss school for many years because my mom used to keep him home when he was little because she was afraid to be alone. I don't know if he went when he was sick, maybe he didn't get sick. But if he was I sick, I still feel the same way.
