Hubby got COVID for the first time. It started with a sore throat that got really bad, we thought it was allergies for two days until he decided to take a COVID test and surprise it was positive. I didn't get it, have never tested positive..

I was sad the kids didn't have any salad on their plates at the end.

Clothes all look the same now, how can anyone tell what the "trends" are? Such a baloney company, everything is a lie.

Good tip, have a flotation device. Everyone should know how to float and tread water.
11
You can't tell by looks what people do.

@patricialavallee8286 You can't say what it was, you don't know. We can't even be 100 percent sure, except that he tested positive for covid for about 5 days.
6
@bigmike4254 I can see why you'd think that, but no, we were thinking it was a very severe allergic reaction that he gets to ink. Not the typical allergies, just to clarify.
6
My husband thought he was having really bad allergies. He's testing negative, though, about 6 days from the symptoms' onset. (He's taking paxlovid, though.) I haven't tested positive, yet.

They said that even a year after his death, google maps hadn't fixed the problem, it was still sending people over the washed out bridge. I report problems I find on the maps to google maps and they are often corrected. They may not be responsible for the initial problem, but if they knew about it and didn't fix it, they could be. And then, the fact they were (probably) notified about what happened, and still didn't fix it, that's a problem in my mind.

And yet to build your own house is practically impossible, even when you work in construction.

@nca4794 Thank you! Yes, he's back at work. Sadly, he got rear-ended yesterday, but he wasn't hurt, just the car was. We all gotta hang in there! :)

I think it's a matter of knowing how and planning ahead. Kids should be included in meal prep, so they enjoy what they eat and know how to do it when they are older.

sounds more interesting than regular football lol

When we lived in Mexico we couldn't afford more than basic vet care, like medicine and sometimes IVs if the dog was really sick. We would have just had to let the dogs die. They ended up dying kind of young, about 8 years old. Dogs don't last long in Mexico. It's a factor here in the US, we're not able to afford pets.

I've never liked my nose either. It's too small and is upturned like a piggy. And it has a big pock mark where a chicken pox was, and a ridge across - possibly from wiping it from allergies. At least it doesn't seem to give me breathing problems. I'd never get surgery. What if it came out worse? :)

3:27 had me cracking up, just that tip of Florida is "Not Cold". Everyone better head there.
2
@Raesling1 I see what you mean but when I report something it's usually handled in a day or so. I'm surprised it wasn't updated quickly, maybe there was a reason.
2
I haven't heard of it.
2
@Marcel_Audubon I'm impressed you're curious enough about me to look through my videos, but you misunderstood that one. Sorry. 🤗

It's especially hard when someone dies in a painful, tragic way. We knew a boy who drowned, and I always kept imagining his last thoughts and feelings as he was stuck underwater. That might be what this man is going through.
2
They may rarely go around, but it's not uncommon for planes to go around. If that makes sense.
2
@maggiep9007 Agreed, there's different situations, so people can choose.
1
@anacowa221 I wish they would clarify what the CO2 could be from.
1
@ Thanks, I should clarify CO2 in hotel rooms. I remember a case in Mexico City where a family rented an Air B&B and died from CO2. That makes more sense to me. Maybe the hotel had a gas heater, but not likely in Belize. We lived over by Tampico and nobody had heaters.
1
@Ziaoe Well, he did test positive for about 5 days on home tests so they were working. We're using a few different "brands", too.

News must be reported, but just by reporting it, it taints Mariah Bell. It's sad, really.
1
@sotorodrigo33 I was just reading about paxlovid rebound, symptoms return 2-8 days after finishing paxlovid.

Thanks for the link!

No, they were dishonest. They set the models up to fail. We didn't have "woke" but we had integrity back then.

It's public information, people need to realize how much of their info is public. Google your name. Notice what you're posting online.

i have almost all of that, but haven't had covid, that I know of yet

My sister-in-law used to participate, she'd give local dogs shots in her town. They give a little medical record and a dog tag type thing to put on the dog's collar to show they were vaccinated. (Government program provided everything for her, she just did it for free.)

Seems that United is still pulling people off flights for no apparent reason. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i3Lv2j7y_Bw

That's a good question. It could be they can't cross the border, or are not able to navigate in TJ. It's a huge hassle and since there's a service, it's easier. Maybe they can't take off work.
1
@Marcel_Audubon Not really, just knowing the name of something doesn't tell me what it is. I've probably heard of it and just forgot. Did twoset pay them a visit?
1
@Marcel_Audubon Why yes, they did. https://youtu.be/PxQN6qdEo_I
1
@Marcel_Audubon What are you talking about pulling over on the highway to shake down old ladies for gas money?
1
@lordmarkquad4470 Oh yes, we all are vaccinated and have gotten every recommended booster. He has diabetes, so he was able to get paxlovid.
1
@billybrown7953 We used multiple brands of covid tests.

When I didn't have health insurance a few decades ago, I would go to Tijuana to buy my asthma inhalers. I also did asthma studies and would get free inhalers. It's horrible that he couldn't get his medicine, it really is too expensive. I don't think it's the pharmacy's fault, though. None of them are affordable. Perhaps his doctor should have made him aware of the pricing and alternatives. We've had doctors give us a heads up on pricing. Even with insurance, my preventive inhaler costs $25/month, which I feel is a bit high.
