  1. When I didn't have health insurance a few decades ago, I would go to Tijuana to buy my asthma inhalers. I also did asthma studies and would get free inhalers. It's horrible that he couldn't get his medicine, it really is too expensive. I don't think it's the pharmacy's fault, though. None of them are affordable. Perhaps his doctor should have made him aware of the pricing and alternatives. We've had doctors give us a heads up on pricing. Even with insurance, my preventive inhaler costs $25/month, which I feel is a bit high.
