  1. I remember hearing about the danger of sand holes on the Today Show some years ago, as well as electrified piers in lakes and marinas. Last summer we were at a beach picnic and I saw kids were in a huge hole. I told the kids' parents, but they just didn't get how dangerous the holes are.
