  3. Maybe if people were paid to spay/neuter their pets the endless breeding would be slowed. Poorer people can't afford to fix their pets, but they'd do it for money.

  5. Two questions, is it safe to let the dog lick you, I mean as far as germs? And what kind of dog is he? A pit-bull mix? As I mentioned in another comment, I once found a puppy with mange and a bloated belly, the skin wasn't this bad though. She grew into a beautiful dog, but we always wondered what kind she was. And she had the bad habit of eating dog poo, I never could get her to stop. She was a sweetheart, timid but playful. She died a few months ago, I don't know why. My mother-in-law was taking care of her in Mexico.

  6. She's just like my dog, Pingy, except she has a little more white than ours. They could be sisters, even how they act. I found Pingy as a tiny puppy in Mexico, with mange and ribs showing. She grew to be a beautiful dog who loves to run and has dainty feet, like a horse. She's still timid though.

  9.  @EmilysStar  Oh I agree, but unfortunately that's not the way it is. And it's sad to see so many abandoned dogs and cats. Especially in other countries where they roam the streets with mange.

  10. She has a great heart to take that dog in. I've seen dogs almost that bad in Mexico, but I didn't take them in. I didn't think they would live and I was afraid of the mange. Two of my dogs were street rescues, one was very thin and still young, but her fur was ok. The other was a little puppy with mange, that I was going to drop off at a vet, but he couldn't take her so I took her home since I couldn't leave her on the street. Another dog we picked up was in real bad shape, but she was a cocker spaniel. She had moquillo, distemper, and died soon after.

  11. I'm afraid of pitbulls. I've known some wonderful ones. Interestingly, two of my dogs (rescued as puppies from the street in Mexico) look like two dogs in this video, so I guess they're part pitbull. I hate that the animal shelters are full of pitbulls. But I'm still very wary of pitbulls.
