  1. American fast food is mostly the same, some small differences. I was surprised that McDonald's in Ciudad Victoria doesn't sell shakes. I remember the KFC biscuits in Queretaro were more like rolls. Carl's Jr. in Tampico was pretty much the same. The hard thing is the prices, if you're earning money in pesos it can be a week's wages, $500 pesos, to take your family to eat Carl's Jr.
