  1. Walmart has had self-checkouts for at least 5 years, how is this new? Sometimes it's great, sometimes it's not. With a lot of groceries, it's hard to manage and bag all the groceries. A few purchases is fine. One thing I hate is when the scale insists you put each item on it before you can proceed to scan the next.
