Spot on. I lived in Mexico for many years and drank Coke once in a while, it did sometimes help me when I was fatigued. It was a very humid climate, I was always sweating and just drinking water all day isn't the best thing. I also drank topochico, sometimes. But yes, everyone drinks Coke even if they're diabetic. And they joke about it.
