  1. What a bunch of pandering BS from the interviewer. She immediately jumps to the fringe case of the abusive father to paint it as common and thereby sanctifying single mothers. I'm a single father and the mother of my child abandoned us both ... as did the mothers of the children of two of my friends. We all raise our kids alone, 24/7, while working and without any government or societal support. This is becoming more the norm.
