  1. Feeling anxious and uneasy after encounters with them, or even hearing of them, is a big one for me. There were a half dozen covert narcs in my life over various times and they all left me feeling this way. The latest one is no exception, even though I cut him off cold two years ago. I sometimes worry to what lengths he will go for revenge ... even though he has proven himself far to lazy to make any kind of move that doesn't result in people fawning all over him. Still, knowing that toxic mind is out there is sometimes all it takes to put me on alert.
