Same in the USA.

@hengguanlye6303 I left while it was still blue land.

My first child is a product of the US public school system. Despite all my efforts to the contrary, he is an ignorant and arrogant example of all the worst woke, liberal and godless ideologies within the United State. I am not letting any of my other kids near public schools.

Whatever Trump implements will just be undone when the ignorant, sheep-like voters predictably elect another liberal into office in the next election. I've seen it over and over again in the last 50+ years.

This is my situation too. While I can still make it on retirement in the USA. I can make it a lot better in other countries.

Why should it be illegal? Make a case for what you say.

This "sheeple" dynamic is mirrored in the USA, although not yet to as great an extent. People will willingly let you shackled and cuff them, rather than give up Big Macs and lattes. Weak men are the worst offenders. They will put up with bashing, condemnation, emasculation and any other manner of indignity just to maintain what they believe to be status quo.

It's true. The USA is so massively divisive that it has become impossible to interact with anyone without politics being injected. What's worse, is that people want to force you to pick one of only two options they believe exist. Binary thinking everywhere. No other options considered. Fail to pick one and both turn on you. The politics is heavily divided along gender lines, with the conflict simmering just shy of an all out gender war. I grew so sick of it that I left the USA to live on the other side of the planet. Nobody here knows (or cares) who Trump, Harris or Biden are. Being an expat now, I am a bit amazed at how my thinking on candidates has changed. As Andrew stated, the conservatives are usually more anti-expat. I am more interested in status quo now. Andrew's comment about foreign women in their 20s being more mature than US women in their 40s also rings very true.

@rbfarrell1 I get the same question from Filipinas. They see US women as both godless and self-sabotaging. Most are horrified that they so easily end their unborn.
1
@MarinaLaroche Well stated. While I utterly despise feminism, I don't apply that label to every woman ... I apply it to the actions of women who display the traits.

@quailduk902 Check your reading comprehension. I said I left already.

@PrayerWarrior4 That's true. You need some money at least. You don't need millions, but you do need a decent stream of at least a few thousand a month.

@roberttjostelson3916 I went to the Philippines. I like it here and it has worked out well for me. I know other who have gone to Thailand and Cambodia. On the other side of the ocean ... Costa Rica, Peru and Mexico. None of these guys are millionaires.

@Dan-l2y2r I've heard Portugal is very nice. Wishing you all the best there. I see the situation in the US much the same way as you.

@Jughead24 The "proud" part is the patriot, who is somehow morally superior for remaining in the USA ... and wants to let you know it. I run into people like that sometimes. What they don't seem to grasp is that the US taxes citizens no matter where you live ... so you're always contributing. You can just live wherever you want.
1
@Jughead24 I also served in the Army for 27 years and I agree with everything you said. I was fervently patriotic for a long time. I am still patriotic, but it is tempered now by realizing what I can and cannot change. I actively tried to effect change for many years, both through political and social means. It didn't work. Too many people think differently from me today and have different values. The democratic way the US is set up, makes it their country too. The US culture has become very traitist and I don't have the right traits ... so I went someplace where some of those traits don't matter and others are actually looked upon with respect.
