All the hallmarks of a non-violent psychopath, most notably the blatant lies, frequent goal shifting and refusal to accept responsibility. I've experienced an endless revolving door of clowns like this during my 30+ years in the business and tech world. Most are two-bit players who have nowhere near the reach, or do the damage, of guys like Milton - but they still do a lot of damage and hurt a lot of people. I see many of them in upper management, where they can spew forth fountains of lies and then scapegoat their subordinates for failures. Incredibly, they are then lauded as successful leaders and often promoted. I've watched one malignant player manipulate his way up to the #2 spot in my company this way. The owner appears to be completely clueless about his deputy. Companies and investors are generally clueless and ill equipped to deal with them, because they are such charming and convincing liars. Nothing is off the table for them, so they will pull unethical (even criminal) stuff a normal person would never suspect. People take them at face value, which is a fatal error.
