  1. I very much relate to your statement about calling out people on their ad hominems, only to have them respond with more ad hominems. Zero self-awareness. Zero introspection. Zero discernment. It seems as thought the vast majority of people you encounter are like this. It reminds me of the courtroom scene in Idiocracy, where "Not Sure" is trying to state a rational case while everyone else in the room is drowning him out with personal attacks and ridicule. That's what it feels like today in mainstream Western society.
