  2. @Joe-ti7qd  I agree, grass isn't greener. Expecting that is a fools game. No place will solve all your problems. But ... there are places that align better with your values and worldview. Extra points if you do better there financially. It's all personal preference.

  3. I left the US mostly because of the misandry. Men are treated like garbage while simultaneously being called oppressors. Especially white men. The legal system is massively biased against all men. I don't run into any of that garbage overseas in Asia. The economy is getting worse too, but I probably would have stayed if it was that alone.

  4. Very true. You move up in Corporate Amerika by conformance, not performance. And all the manager and above are conformists. If you raise an issues, you are not a "team player." Raise them twice and you are suddenly a "problem employee."

  6.  @suzanneblaylock9598  I can respect that. It's not for everyone, nor should it be. There's a lot to be said for having roots. Sometimes I wish I had them, but I was dealt a set of cards that made it more difficult. Still, I don't move around from country to country. I stay in one country and live in the same province ... so you could say I have put down roots here.
