I worked at a company that sold batteries. The marketing department's main concern was diversity, inclusion, and elevating "marginalized" people. Battery sales weren't even on the radar.

  32. I'll tell you how my parents fixed the college dilemma? They told me I had to pay for it all myself. You're a lot more circumspect if the money is all coming out of your own pocket. Cannot get a loan as a teenager with no credit? That's the idea. You figure out how to fund it yourself and you are very careful what you pay for. I did it with a combination of scholarships and work. You say college is way more expensive today? I hear you. All the more reason to figure out something different.
