@HollAnna You still think Western. First world. Sorry for the jerks you encountered. You are right about that, there are a lot of arrogant, entitled people from the more wealthy countries. That includes men. I see that here in the east too. I would like to say that they are the exception ... but there are more than enough to make it common.

1. Most Filipinas do NOT want to come live in the USA. They consider it a godless, immoral cesspool. I agree with them. Also, the US makes it very hard for legal immigration, including wives. 2. The Filipinas most local men consider "ugly" are considered to be so because of their dark skin, not other features. A lot of Western men find them very beautiful. My Filipina wife is a 9/10 smoke show by Western standards ... but considered average here, just because of her dark skin. 3. The woman making the video immediately plays the "money" card. Typical Western thinking. A lot of the rest of the world doesn't lead with money. 4. The "taking advantage of women" trope is completely false. There are MANY Western men over here providing better lives for their wives and extended families. Most Western men are also happy to take care of a woman who already has kids, thereby improving her life too. Fail. 5. "Reinforcing toxic traditional gender roles" ... also completely false. That is the culture in the Philippines and she is displaying typical Western arrogance and narrow minded thinking by expecting other cultures to follow the Western pattern. Nobody forces tradition here. It is a traditional culture. 6. Most men don't care about a woman cooking or cleaning for them. They have learned to do that themselves ... better than Western women. They care about not being in a relationship with an fit, feminine agreeable woman.

@HollAnna Typical Western mindset. You think money is more important than anything else ... including children and family. Western arrogance thinking the rest of the world is just like them. Visit the East some time and get to know the people.
