  1. "Women never lie." --> yes, yes they do. If they did this in court, it would be perjury. This is more of the "he should know what I want" BS. However, it is a very good idea to watch people's actions in addition to their words. If their actions don't match the words, dump them immediately.

  2. There's a reason the Bible tells husbands to love their wives, but wives to submit to their husbands. Submit = respect. That word makes the heads of f'nists and their soyboy allies explode, but it is true. Like Bo says, you cannot demand respect ... only earn it. When you lose it, you start getting used and abused.
