  2. I was one of your detractors, Bo ... on the economic thing ... but you've explained it so well in this one that I now agree with you. I now believe, as you said, that there is a difference between having a lot of kids in a poor nation as an insurance policy as a net gain ... versus in an affluent nation where a child represents a net loss. Ironically, a poor nation can "afford" to have children better than in an affluent modern society. Yeah, there's culture and legal system involved ... but both of those effect the economic outcome. It doesn't matter what you could do in another country. It matters what you CAN do where you are. You convinced me. Thank you for your persistence.
