Average weight for an American woman is 170.6 lbs and average height is 5’4” … which makes the average BMI at the top of overweight, just a fraction below morbidly obese. That’s average, so for every slim, attractive one you see, that means there is one even bigger than 170 lbs. To be fair, American men’s average BMI is just slightly better, but still in the overweight zone.
