  1. When I was in the Army, we called visualization "war gaming." Same concept, but applied to war fighting. Visualize the outcome you want for the battle, then go through as many different "what if" scenarios as possible. In each one, figure out how to stay on track to the final goal.

  3. I did remote software engineering and web development from 2019 to 2022, when I retired. I am in Southeast Asia now and don't have a need to work outside of my pension ... but I know a lot of guys here who do remote work in many different professions. They only common denominator is internet access, which is cheaper here than in many places in the USA. I also know a small handful of guys who run restaurants/bars here, but that is a much more difficult space to break into. 9 out of 10 seem to fail there.
