Fathers Day was marginalized by society long ago. Just look at the huge wind up, ads and planning for Mothers Day verses crickets chirping for Fathers Day. It particularly hits home for me because my child’s mother abandoned us when the child was an infant and I am raising her alone. My mother also abandoned me. Mother’s Day is just a painful reminder, especially with all the hype. One more thing. Most of these single momma social programs are NOT available to single fathers. I have experienced this first hand.

@AIrfan-cz2kt I hear ya. I did 27 in the military, including some combat time. All male armored cav unit. Not a woman in sight for almost a year. But yeah, I often wonder what it was all for. Certainly wasn't appreciated by most. They can have their utopia without men. I am very happy in my utopia without any Western women. I discovered that, not only do I not need them, my life has been the happiest it's ever been without them. Nobody telling me everything I do is wrong or trying to guilt/shame me just for existing.

@impudentdomain I feel for you guys. I'm 60 and don't have to deal with that crap anymore. Well, still do sometimes, but I imagine not to your level. I am surprised at how aggressively I get pursued by women up to 20 years younger ... who then get pissed off when I say I'm not interested. Like I threw away some great opportunity instead of dodging a liability. They even enlist their friends, church people, pastor, etc. to try to convince me to marry them. Ironic really, since women need men like a fish needs a bicycle.
