  1. 100% spot on with regards to moving out of the city. I left a 7.5 million metroplex 4 years ago and have never regretted it. I live in a low population state over an hour from the nearest interstate and 15 miles away from the nearest town of 10,000. The nearest city is over 3 1/2 hours away. The transition was not as difficult as I expected and the cost of living is much lower. My health has benefitted as well with lower blood pressure, no more stress related illnesses and weight loss/muscle gain from working my homestead. Yeah, it's not of everyone. I'm an introvert and never liked the city very much anyway. Just went there for employment. I feel really bad for all the people who feel they need the city. It sucks there.
