Also ... don't get married. At least not in the West. I was well on my way investing in my 20s ... on track to have millions for retirement. Then my wife decided she was "not happy" and the judge gave almost all of it to her + a chunk of my military retirement. Ten years of investment gone. All that potential compounded interest ... gone ... forever ... not recoupable. Oh ... she blew it all on stupid stuff.

@kripky8441 Yeah, you would be strong enough. You'd be amazed what you can endure once it hits you... and it's not like you have a choice.
