  1. I have disliked Biden for longer than many of you have been alive, watching his self-serving corruption beginning in 1973 when he became a senator. Just seeing him makes me nauseous. I am not a Democrat. I am not a liberal. I am glad his administration is finally gone. However, I'm giving him a pass on this one. Biden has already lost 2 of his 4 children. His baby girl Naomi (age 1) in a car crash that also injured and hospitalized Hunter (2) with a skull fracture and Beau (3) with a broken leg. Biden's first wife also died in that crash. Biden then lost his son Beau to cancer in 2015. Yeah, Hunter is a colossal screw up who may deserve prison time. Is this pardon just? No. Is this pardon fair? No. Is this pardon deserved? No. Should it be given? Probably not. Is this pardon merciful? Yes. As a parent, I'll give mercy to Biden on this one. Of course, my vote counts for nothing ... but I'm letting it go.
