  1. Orion is right. You can express moral indignation all you want or say it's not fair, and you will be taken advantage of over and over again. Educate yourself about the red flags toxic and manipulative people display. After being deceived and taken advantage of a few times, I decided to look very closely at the patterns and educate myself with respect to both my weaknesses and manipulative tactics deceivers use. That was the best self-education of my life. The flip side of that coin is that I very quickly make my intentions clear to women. If they do not accept those and try to push or manipulate, I give one warning ... then I am gone permanently with no further discussion or second chances.
