  5. I started working when I was 15. Loading dock, loading and unloading trucks. Joined the Army at 17 and served 27 years. Office job after that until age 62. 47 years straight of work. No breaks, no unemployment, no social handouts. I did pay spousal support for a year and child support for 13 years. She's the one who filed for divorce.

Don't share your thoughts, your dreams, your fears ... or your finances. Maybe you can have a traditional wife or girlfriend in a non-Western country ... but if you want a loyal friend, get a dog.   35. I'm against it, until Texas starts holding mothers receiving child support accountable for actually using the money for the child. There is nothing in place that does that. I was bent over and boned dry in Texas divorce court. My ex banked child support money for the next 13 years, dumping our child off at her parents, while weaponizing the legal system to keep me out of my child's life as much as possible. When he turned 18 and child support stopped, she sent him to live with me, and bought a house with the child support money. Texas child support is corrupt as hell. I'm glad I left that state.

She got my son too, and weaponized the family court system to keep him away from me, because I was a soldier, and turn him into soyboy hater of his own gender. I paid about $80,000 in child support for one kid. Our son lived for 13 years on a cot in the washer/dryer alcove of her parents' house. When he turned 18, she sent him to the city where I lived and bought herself a house with the money

The single mom won't let him parent, but he will still be on the hook for all the bills. The kid(s) figure it out quickly and just treat him with contempt. I am a single father now with sole custody of my child. We are together 24/7. I still would not enter a relationship with a single mom again ... and no, I don't care if a woman doesn't want to be with me because of my child. No skin off my back. I'm saying they had different standards, got away with doing a lot less, and the men very frequently had to do extra work to compensate. A lazy male or one who couldn't cut it was held accountable. Women were not, unless it was something extremely bad.

  48. I worked for several girl-boss directors during my time in corporate IT. All of them displayed these traits: 1. Everyone on the team getting along, rather than producing quality work. Calling out anyone for incompetence, or even fraud, was a cardinal sin. 2. Making promises that the never kept 3. Not telling you to your face what they were going to do, rather doing it behind your back 4. Not telling you when they had a problem with you, rather assassinating your character behind your back 5. Covering for incompetent, even fraudulent, friends
