  1. Trump isn't "mad". Granted he's not an eloquent speaker, never has been, and he doesn't care (why should he). Trump does not care about Congress either, he can get most of what he needs to get done with executive power, which is to lower taxes, boost Wall Street, deport a few million (won't be all 11 million) undocumented migrants. Boosting Wall Street matters as most Americans, unlike most Brits, are invested in stocks and shares. Trump isn't "bad" either. You can make moral judgements but he's doing things that a large section of America support.

  3. Agree. He's not mad (nor bad), he's smart enough to tap into the mood of a nation and get into power, and then shape reality to achieve his goals of tax cuts, or whatever best benefits him. That's not madness, that's just being smart enough to know how to play the game.

  5. It should correct through meritocracy. The problem is the US education system, it's too expensive so only a few get opportunities to flourish. In the US you have to hustle to move up in society.

  6. This is false, no climate bill is being blocked. The bill being blocked is one brought by a private member to impose legal deadlines on UK - in other words tie the UK's hands, which would be a silly thing to do. UK is still doing all the net zero things, it just doesn't want to be tied to a legally binding deadline.
