Reform is a single issue party.

It's not a policy. It's organic development of the civilization.

He didn't give £3bn to the war effort in Ukraine. This money was already budgeted for. And it's not all in cash, it's the total value of the aid to Ukraine. Most of it is in the form of equipment, old equipment that we need to replace anyway. Giving it Ukraine means it gets it off the asset register of the UK defence dept., which can then place new equipment orders for modern equivalents. That in turn stimulates defence spending and investment in UK's defence sector.

If you voted for change, then you are still getting change. Labour did not campaign on radical change, just change in terms of making the system more effective, not throwing out policies and frameworks altogether.

The same as UK and Europe. Central bank (the US Federal Reserve) creates the money, government spends it, taxes to take it back out of circulation to balance the books with the central bank.

I don't see this as a problem, I would argue that it is the desired end state. The world operates on capitalism which means our challenges (economic, social, cultural) are all the same. The solutions are going to be similar with minor differences in approach. The only significant differences in the governing system will be whether or not the government is a democratic (much of the world) one, or an autocratic (Russia, China, etc.) one. I don't agree that the private sector cannot deliver for the public. It can, we have examples all around us of it happening, example, telecommunications.

@martineyles That's not true. This myth is based on the written text, but as everyone knows, EU is always happy to negotiate terms for joining. And in any case, joining the Euro is not problem for Scotland. The good thing about Scotland joining the EU is that it would almost certainly expedite Northern Ireland reuniting with Republic of Ireland. Then in the future Ireland and Scotland could be connected by a tunnel enabling easy movement between Scotland and Ireland. England and Wales can then fence themselves off if they want.

The independents would still remain independents. Politics happens in the middle, where most people are.
