Great explanation. As a computer scientist GPT is really not that mind blowing when you know that behind the scenes it's a giant data model and algorithms. It's magic to many non-computer scientists, but we can distinguish science from magic.

@herrbonk3635 I don't think the point is to explain in concrete in terms, more to just explain concepts and principles.

@herrbonk3635 As a computer programmer of 40+ years, AI is not some great mystery to me; large data models and quite simple algorithms at the core of it, combined with the computer capacity we now have. The theory has been around since the 1940s.

These days there needs to be a very good business case for going down the container route. Most businesses just want to write business logic, and for this there are better and lower cost alternative approaches, such as using business platforms (SalesForce, Dynamics 365, ServiceNow) where you don't need to worry about the infrastructure, instead just build your LOB applications by writing configuration and business logic code.
