@ClownCarCoup Nonsense the US constitution does not say that anywhere. The same year the constitution was formed 1776 the USA signed agreements with France. Countries have only one governing power for international affair and that is interests, and these are always changing with time so of course it is not in the US constatation as it is always changing with time and is not up to the US senate to vote on but a function of the US department of state. The agreements with Russia over Ukraine STAND. They are all legitimate fully signed agreements.

Russia is a past superpower on it's way downwards. Russia has no future which is why Putin is acting like someone who is in suicide mentality becasue Russia has no future, no hope. It will never be a world power again so it is trying to play games globally but it has no influence on the world. The war in Ukraine has been great for the west, boosting industry, military, giving the west a force for unity. It has united NATO back together and Europe as a whole has become much more streamlined. It has prevented future exit from EU of other countries and instead even the right wing in Europe has become pro- EU. Russia has done Europe a favor.

The man is old 73 years, he has his head stuck after 25 years in power he does not even know his job is to serve the Russian people so all he is doing is playing some games with the west but destroying the future of Russia doing so. But it made Europe scared and weak which makes the USA much stronger with reminding Europe that they depend on the USA. And even it made China become scared of Russia cancelling new gas pipe due to fear of being too dependent on Russia. Making enemies between Russia and Japan/South Korea. And splitting India and China apart. You cannot get a better hand for the USA if you try to. On top of this, Russia is forced to sell oil and gas at deep discount prices which makes oil and gas cheaper for the world which is good for the USA as it is fully independent on gas and oil but is a services economy so wants the price to be as cheap as possible = strong US economy.

@crhu319 China is not at all a Russian friend it has done nothing for Russia except export cheap goods that have stolen industry from Russia to China. You know something? Why did Soviet Union Collapse? It was because of China, as industry in Russia was flooded with items from China and industry stolen to China leaving Soviet factories empty buildings. You need to ask, why are Russian factory buildings empty? Why Russia has economy smaller than Italy with much smaller population? It is because Russia was always a country of industry but China has stolen it away with subsidy and state laws that make China much cheaper than Russia but it is artificial by the Chinese state. Why did Putin go to North Korea and Vietnam and has deals with India? They see Russia as a counter-to China. This shows the real china-russia relations is enemies not friends. China has not signed for new pipeline of gas because it does not want to become dependent on Russia but it shows China has no faith or trust in Russia, that is a sign of true relations.

100% if Ukraine backs down today, Russia will invade again in a few years, there is no question about it. Russia has proven to be a total liar which has damaged the China-Russia relations. Putin went to North Korea and Vietnam which made China VERY upset. You did not see Putin stop in China on this visit because China is very angary. Putin is here playing games in China's back yard which in the past lead to the China-Russia split during the cold war. Putin is doing the same again. China also did not sign on agreements for the new has pipeline in the end so China has backed away from Russia. This is a BIG WIN for the wesst.

@ClownCarCoup TOTAL Nonsense the USA has thousands of agreements that are not in the US constitution even back to the year 1776 the same year the constitution was written the USA signed agreements with France, the same year 1776 and of course it is not in the constitution don't be silly. The US constitution is just a governing foundation platform it does not dictate what countries or agreements the USA as a nation with interests can agree to. Nations also always change interests over time . The USA was a close ally of Russia for 200 years as both had similar interests. The world is run by national interests if you know anything about geopolitics.

Ukraine had the Orange Revolution against Russia controlling Ukraine against the freedom of the people of Ukraine to choose their own future. Russia should not be allowed to turn a western, freedom, democratic loving people and nation of Ukraine in to a puppet state of Russia just becasue they want to. The world does not work like that anymore that is the world of 1700s not 2000s. Russia is stuck in the past .

@leonidragozin2247 Not true Ukraine had the launchers for MiG-29 so could easily set up the nukes to fire. These systems were designed to be very basic so not a problem for Ukraine.

My family is half Russian and half Hungarian, and I can tell you myself that Russia does not belong in these countries they never were Russian any time in history except the short Soviet Union but that does not give Russia any legitimacy at all

Putin is doing the same that Hitler did, claiming other peoples lands, calming rights over Russian people living in other countries, that is the same thing Hitler did. Do you need see how Putin is acting like that? What gives Putin the right to invade and take over other nations lands? No country in the world is invading and taking others land away, only Putin and his pointless games. But the Russian army has lost like 60% of all the weapons the Soviets built for 80 years so the future ability of Russia to have wars is now over. This is good for Russian people as it means there is less risk of wars in the future like with China or NATO. Putin will not be able to re-build the Russian for another war before he is dead.

No they were already split, Serbia was trying to invade with their idiot dictator, even Russia was supporting NATO, important to remember. Listen, you cannot force 2 million people or 20% of a country population by force to do as you tell them to, it's not possible. You will just suffer internal chaos, wars, terror, mass tragedy, arrets, protests, instability, splitting Serbia and Kosovo apart is better for everyone. There is no other way. You must understand you cannot force 2 million people against their will it never ends well.
