  1. Fantastic as always! Indeed the FED has gone nuts and 5% should have been enough. I think the FED has a lot of data that we do not have access to so maybe they see something we don't but I am not sure it is enough to justify going above 5%.

  2. The FED does not care about BRICS or geopolitics, or even the Dollar, that is not their job. The US Treasury manages all of that and worry about geopolitics so that is Janet Yellen's job. Keep in mind that BRICS is a bit of a joke becasue who are the members? China and India that hate each other so they will not trust sharing the same currency, Russia that is under total sanctions, South Africa that is a failed country and Brazil that has been stuck in no growth for like 15 years so not looking very good.
