@WELVAS. 100% you are right. The FED rate was 5.5% while inflation was 2.5% so that is HUGE pressure on the economy. In 2017 we had 2.5% inflation so the FED hiked to 2.5% rate. If we use the same calculations we were 3% rate too high before the FED cut 0.5% now we are 2.5% too high which is still totally crazy. The rate needs to come down much faster but central banks are always slow.

This has nothing to do with Democrats or Republicans this is just cuts based on economic data. Inflation is now 2.5% so by the time it falls to 2% the economy will be in the mudddddd so they have to start lowering the rate ASAP. This is nothing to do wth politics

@michaelshirhall1831 No you are wrong. The Dollar 4 years ago in 2020 was around 90-95 points today the Dollar is 100.71 points so a good 5-10 points higher then 4 years ago.
