Well you can at least look at other states. Here in WA state the pandemic started early here with the first cases overall but other than the first lockdown in March 2020 there were no further lockdowns and overall the infection rate was pretty low so that is probably why even though the state has high vaccine rates it is currently 3rd highest infection rate right now, a year delay. I think the Indian variant could hit here the people that did not get the vaccine but time will tell, maybe not, we'll see.
