Also the US population is officially around 330 million but the reality is that many people choose not to answer the census , they are missed like I am due to living more remotely, lost, or simply illegal residence that aren't counted so the reality is there are probably around 350 million or so not the official 328 or 330 million.

Bill Gates like Elon Musk both have very big ego but neither are doctors and are not directly involved in solving the COVID issue so it is better to listen to the CDC or local authorities in your area. Overall I did not let COVID impact my life. I go shopping in malls and stores with a mask and never got COVID, I even traveled domestically 3 separate times during COVID, just wearing a mask and keeping hands clean is not a big issue. We drove from Seattle to Utah, another time to Las Vegas and 3rd time to southern California even during lockdowns but we did it safely and never got COVID. We only eat in hotel rooms or in our car or in the open area/park, stay in small motels that have private AC or in a Cabin or guest home. I did take a risk and have dinner with family that already had COVID but they tested negative before we met for Christmas and did not get COVID even though we did not use masks but that was a risk we accepted. I have been avoiding meeting friends in person but we mostly hang out online playing games anyway so not much of a change during COVID. I guess if you are used to meeting in person with Friends that can be an issue.
