@markandmellwhiteley7995 It is really hard to tell if someone died because of COVID or if they had other issues and COID just made it worse or if COVID had no impact and they would have died anyway. It is a limitation of the nature of healthcare and the wild differences between each person. Other cases the doctors might know right away, the person was healthy and got the virus and had a bad reaction. It is a very wide playing field.

The fabric style masks overall should kill the virus since the virus can only live in liquid like spit particles when someone talks (when they aren't wearing a mask and have the virus), so when the spit dries up due to the fabric of the mask absorbing the liquid, the virus should die as well. I still clean my hands after touching a mask especially if I am going in and out of stores and it is probably a good idea to wash the masks although I never did and I have been using the same 2 masks in rotation since April and I did not catch the virus. That said, I usually go out shopping at night when stores are pretty empty like around 8pm - 11pm but there can be allot of people at that time as well especially in stores like Trader Joes, Home Depot and Fred Meyer seem to always be busy but I do love the quiet roads and freezing night air, I really enjoy it.
