Vancouver downtown might look nice but there is a BIG issue, it is mostly apartments and not many offices. How many large tech companies are in downtown Vancouver? Yeah, not many, it's mostly foreign investors building and buying condos. The problem in Vancouver is that it might look like a healthy downtown but there are limited jobs.

@knut He means LA, Riverside and Orange counties. Irvine has so many tech companies now it has it's own world around it with it's own suburbs. Costa Mesa and so on.
