I don't know man. I think the war over over NATO unity has already been won. Russia's real hope was that Ukraine war would split NATO apart by some that want to help Ukraine and some that will not and you can see how Hungary acted but in reality NATO become united and galvanized much to Putin's dismay, Finland and Sweden joined and Russia failed to sway the Turks away from the west. The real game now is dragging on Ukraine war for 10 years while Russia Re-arms that is the best for Russia and a real problem for NATO. Also Russia can try and instigate problems for NON-NATO members of EU like Ireland, Russia has a long history of playing games near Ireland and could really cause trouble once more.

@mikaham681 Indeed that is 100% true. Putin has his oligarchs have stolen 25 years of profits from oil and gas only to now use it to fund a pointless war and instead of building schools for Russians, improving roads and trains they are now wasting it all on a pointless war. Russian people did not get money during COVID so were struggling probably so that Putin could offer military service and get them to join the war effort. And he is forcing Slavic to go to war against Fellow Slavic people what a mess.

In all reality Russia lost. The next step of the game is to drag on the Ukraine war to wear out the west, that is the real play here and you can see how Russia is going around the world to find weapons and manpower to keep the fight going that is the real goal here now, to keep the war going for 10 years to come that would really put the most possible pressure on NATO. The game now is long term and to play hit and run tactics like sending waves of immigrants to the Russian border, try and harass NATO members individually, maybe even try and provoke a NON-NATO members in the EU like Ireland that is a really soft target that Russia has already provoked in the past and might pick up the pace once more.
