  1. The US Dollar being used by other nations is a burden on the USA because the FED has limited control over that money. This is why the Euro nations get ANGREY when another nation uses the Euro without permission. This is why CHINA will NEVER allow their currency to become a reserve currency, they will lose power over their own money, that is not something China will EVER agree to. Even other nations that have a very stable currency keep super tight control over who is allowed to use it, say Switzerland! Go and try to adopt the Swiss Frank without their permission and see how that goes for you! The Dollar will continue to be the reserve currency as long as the USA wants to, it is the one that controls when and IF the Dollar stops being the reserve currency BECAUSE no one else wants this dangerous job!
