Chrysler was struggling in the 1990s which is why they merged with Mercedes - one of the funny things to come out of it is strange quirks of Mercedes rubbed off on Chrysler like the Hemi engine in 2003 started having 2 spark plugs per cylinder LOL you can thank Mercedes for that idea. Chrysler has been through the ringer but the cash injection by FIAT really helped refresh the lineup, the Challenger reboot with real powerful engines, the new RAM design, the Gladiator, the last update of the 300, really not bad products that people were happy to buy but they now need to basically repeat that effort and begin a new major refresh but with the focus on EVs that is going to be a challenge. Trump will change the EV deadlines but his #1 friend is Elon Musk so to what extent? Probably not as much as people think. We shall see.

The US does need to transition to EVs becasue Fracking boom will only last for so long and then what? Crawl back to the Saudi's? No, EV is the future or Hybrids, but even Trump knows that is the future as his #1 friend is now Elon Musk so yeah.
