I agree with all of your videos except this one. The USA was the only industrial country unaffected by WW2 and so while GDP fell due Congress doing the usual and cut spending drastically and hard and fast leading to many factories closing these were offset by very very large demand for goods from all over the world and American made products using skilled labor who were trained in new skills during WW2 as well as new factories that were privatized and sold off after the war, became a large success one of which is local to me which is Boeing and yes today in 2022 they are very much so still using the same buildings which were built for WW2 so I have to strongly disagree that war is a waste of resources, it did a great positive impact on the USA that is still paying dividends in 2022. WW2 lead to hundreds of new American companies, a new military industry which ha sold military equipment all over the world for massive profits and more so now then ever before as countries around the world arm themselves to new threats. The USA gained skilled labor, sell of weapons, new companies, privatized new industry and global trade thanks to WW2, yes War is GOOD for the winner.

@floridaman318 I am not a socialist I am libertarian and I am against government intervention but war is different and it lead to the creation of many companies still around today.... like Boeing.
