  1. Americans saved up money for many years before COVID perhaps going back 10 years and COVID disease caused many American to re-evaluate life and decide to spend more money in general. As such inflation is unavoidable and together with De-Globalization we need to get used to higher inflation long term. 3% or 4% will become normal as we proceed so might as well begin this transition now. This also allows the west to produce more workforce as higher inflation will erode wealth and send people back to the workforce. The west needs higher inflation long term, the economy wants inflation.
