Well no one wants to see deflation although that can occur in a rate cycle there was some deflation in 2010 I think when things were going nuts back then and again during COVID in 2020 but I have a hard time seeing the FED let that happen as they are in control in this cycle although who knows.

Core = housing as stated 70% of inflation is now housing but that is in the works it just takes some time. The FED is well aware that housing takes 12-18 months to react to rate hikes and we only saw the last hike 2 months ago, raising the rate further does not solve housing or Core CPI.
