  1. True, the USA income inequality is due to cheap imports from China. We are subsidizing lost industry with cheap imports but that just leads to low inflation and low rates which balloons values of assets like housing. We need inflation back up so we need to raise the price of imports with tariffs, and re-shore industry \instead of selling cheap goods made in China we create jobs and sell higher priced good, create inflation which brings investment to industry and manufacturing and higher interest rates to return asset values to reality (low home values slowly over time)
