That is not true as this new tariff is on ALL countries, not just Canada. It is a Tariff on ALLLLL steel and aluminum imports to the USA. There is no country that is not impacted, Australia was hit with tariffs too. So is the UK and EU and China EVERYONE

Listen up, almost all Natural gas in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana comes from Canada and we use that to produce fertilizer for farms in all 4 states so prepare for major issues - the price of potatoes, Onions, Fruit, almost all corn you eat, edible corn comes from Washington state and all states depend on Canadian Natural Gas for fertilizer so what is going to happen??? MAJOR HIKE IN PRICES. Fast food, burgers, fires, oil, heating, onion, potatoes, every corner of the USA will get hit. You will pay more. Inflation will go UP the FED will be forced to HIKE rates that will slow down growth. Oil prices will shoot up. Diesel prices will go up so everything goes up in price. And for what benefit is this? So that more American's can't afford to eat? That kids go hungry? That is not what a Christian wants for our country and people. You voted in to power a bad man. Just so you understand that when the impact hits.

There are 7 US states that import power from Canada as they are too far from states like Texas and cannot transport electricity that distance so depend on Canada this includes major hospitals and cities like Northern Idaho. My electricity in Idaho comes from Canada as well as my natural gas to heat my home which is now going up 25% in price. Your ignorance while carrying the USMC banner in your name is revolting.

Not just that but we in Idaho, Washignton, Oregon we all depend on Natural Gas from Canada - so Canada has a ton of weapons to use. This will mean potatoes, Onions, Corn, fruit and veg all over the USA will explode in prices. Stupid Trump is a total clown and Idaho the core of Trump where I live will get hit very hard. The USA is under weak leadership who is scared to raise taxes to cover their Government debs so instead of dealing with the problem they are throwing this on other countries in the form of Tariffs which is a way to raise taxes on Americans but in a way that instead of harming US Politicians from the elected party it moves it to foreign countries - a very idiotic and low IQ way of dealing with debt. The US Government is at fault for loading up on debt - yet when it comes time to pay it back - they put the impact on foreign countries? How pathetic is that? Like a 5 year old child would do, no self control, no intellegence, no care about foreign perception of the USA and this is only going to cause more damage to the USA in the long term instead of just raising Income tax on the USA population they throw the hot potato at the world which will sour relations - the world will buy LESS USA made goods leading to inflation inside the USA for no reason.

Listen very very carefully, no country in the world can accept tariffs and not respond becasue this damages the economy, the people will demand, protest until action is taken, you cannot abandon your people, ever. SO of course there will be respond in kind. That is exactly the role of Government to protect the population of their country. If you think a country will sit back and do nothing than you have no idea what Government even is. You see how silly what you said is??? Governments are responsible for their population and their and economy and have to do what is right to balance out trade. This is why any issue of Tariff leads to a tariff battle - there is absolutely no alternative.

That is not possible - when Canada is tariffed that impacts its economy and population so it has to respond - that is how trade relations work. Telling a country to not respond makes no sense as that simply damages the economy for no reason - by using tariffs Canada can off set the damage as it will collect more taxes that it can use to raise demand inside the Canadian economy to help limit the impact of the tariffs. Every single country the USA imposes tariffs on will respond in kind as that is minimum to harm the USA back and use the new collected tariff money to help the economy.
