  1. Well the problem is that the economic system depends on expansion, which means more people. If you have less people you no longer have a working economic model. Germany needs more people and if you don't want Africans and don't want people from Syria OK then you need to let in people from somewhere else but AFD does not want anyone, 0 immigration. If I want to buy a used car on Sunday from some guy on Facebook let me do it, why the hell do I need to wait to go to a bank to get a cashiers check or take out cash, just let me pay the man in peace. The FED Is just fixing a problem that has been around for .... well forever. They can spy on me all the FED wants I could care less, whatever. Just let me live life as I want, why not let me buy a used car on Sunday and pay the seller right there. Why do I need to go on Monday, during work hours to a bank to take out cash or cashiers check, soooo stupid of a process. I lose work hours, I need to fight traffic, stand in line at a bank, then go meet the seller AGAIN a second time, and on a work day so now there is traffic...... What a pain.

  4. Have you looked in to moving out west? If you want the best the USA has to offer it's out in the west, have a look at Boise, Salt Lake city, Nevada, Eastern Washington, Tri cities? Also places like the mountains east of Sacramento is fucking awesome place to be mountains, valleys, endless historic sites from the gold rush era and Vineyards, lots of affordable houses, tons of tech jobs in Sacramento area, affordable houses up in the mountains with big land 5+ acres with Gorgeous towns like out of a story book, Placerville CA, Auburn CA, Jackson CA and so many others just dozens of awesome towns, all these towns are fucking magical. If you want cheap living look at the MASSIVE area about 1 hour drive circle around Redding California it's super cheap, not many job options but just everything, mountains, rivers, cheap houses on big land. For jobs in Tech you can't beat Salt Lake sooo many tech jobs but its not cheap there, for cheap living and tons of Tech jobs look at Huntsville Alabama a friend moved there not only did he score a job in Tech with almost the same pay as in Seattle where I live but he bought his house for cash for dirt cheap, he is living the dream

  5. The US Government might seem big and heavy and over spend but actually lower than most western countries so we still have a "small" Government. In France it is 58% of GDP in Germany it is 49% of GDP in UK it is 44% of GDP In Australia it is 38% of GDP and China 33% of GDP and here in the good old USA it is 36%. So we have a Government in percent of GDP between Australia larger and China smaller I think that is still pretty good. Before WW2 in 1930s it was very small like 12% of GDP but then WW2 happened and the British Empire was no more and we became the world leading power and went in to a cold war with the Soviets so we spent money to go to the Moon to look very cool and we did look cool as the Soviets gave up the space race after that.... Anyway here we are today.

In the USA when a company promises a salary the worker ALWAYS gets it, you will never find the type of ad-hoc wages like in Italy in the USA it does not exist. Also, there is no such thing as late-stage-Capitalism that is a conspiracy of the uneducated, there is what is called Late-Stage of the Business cycle, if you know economics, every economy has a cycle of expansion and contraction, we today in 2024 are in late stage of the Business cycle, high interest rates to lower inflation, slowing down of the economy and sales numbers, corporate income is slow, and maybe there is or isn't a recession, then after that, a new cycle starts with early-expansion stage begins. This is a continuous cycle of all world economies. Capitalism has no expire date like your conspiracy is telling you, instead it has a cyclical nature from Ancient Rome and to this day. The cycle is psychological and economic, people spend money, cost rises with inflation, people slow down spending due to higher costs, then there is a recession and then demand begins to rise again. I highly recommend learning about the business cycle so that you understand better the world you live in,

  7. ​ @PoeJoe-l7o  China has always focused on taking over Taiwan peacefully by trying to run their own candidate through the Democratic system to win the vote. However they were handed a massive defeat in 2020 due to the Hong Kong protests and with only 4% of the vote as they ran a bad candidate and China then switched to the military invasion propaganda to try and win back support and since then they actually continued to focus on the same tactic and found better candidates and indeed they now have in the polls for 2024 around 25% of the vote in the current polls so they gained back a lot of support since 2020. Perhaps the military threats worked but most likely it was just finding better candidates that is what worked. China messed up in 2020 and now they are back on the path. However 25% of the vote is not enough to take over Taiwan peacefully but as the elderly Taiwanese from the original generations die away that might change the future outcomes which gives China hope that they can win an election in the future. The question is if China will wait 10-20+ years for it? I don't know but I think China stands to lose everything if the invasion takes place, they will lose global image, trade, exports, economy will get hit hard for what gain? So the odds just don't look good.

The losses on the ground are one time, Russia is using weapons that took the Soviets 60 years to create and Russia can never replace the losses. So every day Russia is losing military power for forever in to the future, Ships, air place, missiles, armor, is all one time losses, Russia will never rebuild the losses. And Russia is losing power by killing fellow Slavic people? Imagine telling the Soviets what Russia is doing today? They would remove Putin as a traitor. He is a traitor to Russian people for stealing the profit of oil and gas for 25 years, instead of schools and better payment for work, what do you get? War.

  12. ​ @jayclark5034  Taiwan is very independent from China they have no policy connections, the laws and regulations and standards that are found in Taiwan are totally independent like any 2 countries like China and Korea, they each follow their own regulations and standards. I have been to both countries and the difference is pretty much everywhere it is hard to find a similarity. Also note that Taiwan has preserved the original Chinese ethnic and Buddhist and Tao characteristics that the Communist removed out of China, the large numbers of temples, shrines and culture centers that is missing in China so the culture of the people is very different it is like going back in time to what China used to be like in a time machine. Taiwan should be seen as cultural heritage of what China mainland was like before the communist purified China and removed generations of heritage.

Many US cities have grown 2x in the last 30-40 years and are hard to recognize they have developed so much but in the North-east some look like they did 30 years ago but this is regional issue as industry changed and with people preferring warmer climate. The top cities for Tech jobs in the USA has no cities in the North-East except maybe Boston.

  16. Argentina will never industrialize because it's population has always been urban (92%) so there is no pool of people to draw from. You need the poor masses to move from subsistence agriculture to the urban core to be willing to work hard manual labor for low pay. Anyone who has been to Argentina will know that the people will not be willing to do that kind of work, you will not find that in Argentina. Indonesia being predominately Muslim it values family, social and communal environment so they won't be willing to work those kinds of jobs. Also India for all the opportunity there, and it is massive, the culture does not fit with becoming a slave for western consumers that is alien and does not work with Indian culture not to mention that most Indian population core is hundreds of miles from the Ocean, deep in-land.

Here in the North-West US and also BC Canada most of the energy is form Hydro I think like 3/4 which is why it is the cheapest area of US/Canada but selling electricity to California and other states raises our prices a bit. The price here before COVID was 0.08 cents for KW and as of right now it is 0.12 so it went up some. Most of the electricity is from Grand Coulee dam and all of the many other dams on the Columbia river.

  22. Inflation is always recorded in 2 numbers monthly and 1 year ago, MoM and YoY, there has never been 2 years. YOY is inflation between completed months so right now the latest data is November 2022 and November 2023 that is the current YoY. Also inflation is tracked by BLS (Bureau of Labor Statistics) which is not run by the Government but instead by Congress so that is actually tun by Republicans as they run Congress.

The problem with Russia is due to its population and leadership structure it always pushes hard until everything collapses, WW1 lead to the Russian resolution x2 and Afghanistan lead to the end of the Soviet Union. China makes goods and the USA buys goods, if this changes, the USA will suffer missive inflation followed by asset collapse while China will suffer over supply, collapse in value of goods and a Major depression. The outcome is a China than has gone backward 40 years and USA that has economic recession but will eventually find other countries to buy goods from although at a weaker buying power. Ultimately both sides lose if one side suffers major problems. China's best interest is that the west does well and the west best interest should be that China does well. As long as both sides can find a way to work out all issues then everyone will be successful if they split apart everyone will suffer. Very simple

He might also dislike their culture which I had a small hit of that in a number of events Xi attended. Also, when it comes to military foundation and proof of capabilities that cannot be said of China at least not in the last 100 years, that is different for the subcontinent which has a long tradition of military capabilities under the British Empire so most likely has a very realistic and proven foundation to build on.

It is just the money that is in peoples bank accounts and CDs but it went up during COVID for obvious reasons #1 people were stuck at home so they did not go out spending money = bank accounts went up.... #2 The US Gov did print lots of money first under Trump then Biden and handed it out to people as stimulus and forbearance so more money in bank accounts #3 people sold out of stocks and other things and parked some of that cash in their bank accounts #4 people stopped traveling or going to other countries so more money in bank accounts. #5 people that wanted to spend money like buy a house and holding off due to high cost of homes and high rates but overall Americans are still holding massive quantity of money which is in conflict with the narrative that credit cards are pilling up and Savings are depleted, M2 money supply says otherwise . Powell said to Americans to stop spending and they listened to him and did as he commanded. However the money is still there to cause problems so FED will have to carry a whip for years to come.

Also, the problem with invading Taiwan is that PLA Navy will create a blockade around Taiwan but most likely will not fire on any foreign ships or Navies so as the US Navy shows up with large fleet of cargo with food and weapons I highly doubt China will attack them and if the US Navy unloads which I think they will 99.9% chance I think then many other counties will join as well, Europe, much of Asia, it will look like the world VS China in a race to support Taiwan and that is also a very bad image for China, how can China deal with such a terrible situation? They can't, even if they take over Taiwan in the end it's China VS the world, that is a very bad place to be in unless China wants to be isolationist and disconnect from the world but with belt and road initiative I highly doubt that is what China wants, in fact I think it is the total opposite, they want to gain trust and rise as a world leading nation but that effort will collapse totally if they invade Taiwan.

  45.  @jayclark5034  Good point however UK held out against Germany that held practically most of mainland Europe in WW2 under it's control and they also did so facing the Spanish and French Empires so being an island has a lot of strengths. However the UK is much larger than Taiwan and further away from Europe and had an empire of their own to depend on. Taiwan has none of that.

However after so many years of independence people of Hong Kong did not want to lose their western style freedoms granted to them but China chose to use force against them and that changed global view of China to one that does not care about value of human life as other countries do. You can see how China acted during COVID in authoritarian ways. China used to have a very orderly system of power but Xi Jinping took full control over it and now rules as one deciding person over all matters which is a shame, I actually was a big fan of how China was ruled for the last 40 years as it lead to good decisions and ability to deal with many issues at the same time and create a very successful economy for China and great positive impacts on the world but now with Xi Jinping there is only one man who rules everything so it is a real mess, very unfortunate change for China and the world. There is a saying, too much power corrupts the soul that is what has happened to Xi Jinping he became the Dictator of China and now is so blinded by his own power that he is making many errors and mistakes which is bad for China and the world. I want to see a successful China and a growing China and I wanted to live in China but that is no longer possible due to hostile nationalism that Xi Jinping is creating in China and damaging the Economy of China for no reason at all.
