  2. yawn it's guaranteed humans will be extinct sooner or later from something (Mt Everest-sized collision is due in about 35M years). Supervolcano eruptions with the same extinction results are far more common (Yellowstone probably within around 50k years). Sadly I will not be around to witness either of those. Maybe the next Covid will be 1000x more virulent (The Stand level). Or the next world war. Or the next Carrington Event.

  3. 17:00 I concur. 3M people all leaving Nashville at once after the total eclipse was over in 2017 was hell. Interstate was litarally a 100-mile long parking lot. It would have been quicker to get out and walk 300 miles home (5 hours to get there, 3 days to get back).
