  1. Looks like a lithium extraction plant. Need literally mountains of it daily for the world's batteries (mostly smartphones and Teslas, as well as utility-level renewable storage). Lots of these in the Atacama desert in Chile (fast evaporation rates, and millions of tons available nearby and in Argentina).
