  2. If there was a UBI/expanded welfare then jobs would be optional but not needed. Make everything last forever and have AI and robots do everything, problems solved. If your business model is making adjn selling things then get a new business model when AI will make it for nothing, including more AI's. I'm sure mining and energy will still be profitable.

  3. the easy answer to the ligthbulb life is it's very dim and not very hot. Run it at 3000 Celcius with increased voltage to where it's as bright as newer bulbs and it would die just as quickly (2k hours or less). Take a modern 100W bulb and run it at 9W with 40V instead of 120V and it would probably last a million hours too, though not very useful when that dim.
